Baby Wearing Education

During a baby-wearing consultation you will learn the benefits of baby-wearing, explore your baby-wearing goals, and will be introduced various types of baby carriers (ring sling, soft-structured carrier, Asian-style carriers, woven wraps, stretchy wraps, and hybrids) to determine which is best suited for you and your baby . After narrowing your choices, you will have a chance to try on a couple different carriers to find and learn the proper fit. A resource list with information on where to acquire the carrier(s) you choose. Please note that I do not sell carriers.

The consultation can take place prenatally or postpartum. I will demonstrate the safe use of the chosen carriers with a weighted demo doll and will provide guided practice for you, also with the weighted doll, before practicing with your infant.
