Webster’s Technique
The Webster Technique is a specialized chiropractic approach that I use to support pelvic alignment and function during pregnancy and the postpartum period. It combines gentle sacral adjustments with soft tissue therapy to help reduce sacral and sacroiliac (SI) joint restrictions. The goal is to support optimal neuro-biomechanical balance in the pelvis, which can ease many of the common discomforts experienced during pregnancy.
I often use the Webster Technique to help individuals find relief from round ligament pain, pelvic girdle pain, and symphysis pubis dysfunction. It’s a gentle and effective way to address some of the physical changes and challenges that can arise throughout the perinatal period.
To ensure you’re comfortable, I offer treatments using pregnancy pillows and a table specifically designed to accommodate growing bellies. These allow you to lie face down safely and comfortably if that feels good for you. If not, adjustments can also be done in a seated or side-lying position—your comfort and sense of safety always guide how I work.
I maintain an active certification in the Webster Technique through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) and keep my training up to date to ensure I’m offering care that is both evidence-informed and personalized. Whether this is your first pregnancy or you’ve been here before, I’m here to support your journey with compassion, skill, and care that is grounded in respect for your body and your choices.
